Winter evenings invite us to slow down and enjoy moments of magic. Boar's Head Resort offers a perfect way to do just that with its Winter Wander Trail of Lights. This seasonal event transforms the resort’s grounds into a glowing wonderland, inviting visitors to stroll through illuminated paths, festive displays, and take-part in a Santa Meet-n-greet at the Santa Mill

Whether you are seeking a family outing, a romantic evening, or a peaceful solo walk, the Winter Wander Trail promises a memorable experience filled with light and warmth.The Winter Wander Trail stretches across the scenic grounds of Boar's Head Resort, offering a carefully curated route that highlights the natural beauty of the area. The trail is designed to be accessible for all ages and mobility levels, making it an inclusive experience.




  • A variety of light displays: The trail includes an illuminated Lakeside stroll with classic colorful lights and animated installations, and the glistening grove a full walkway around Firefly Pond with more than 700 dynamically illuminated light posts with a combined 189,000 pixels that move in harmony with a 20-minute musical composition. The trail features diverse lighting styles that create a festive atmosphere.

  • Ā šŸŽ„Warm beverage stations and Festive food vendors: There are food vendors and beverage stations that offer a variety of food items and other seasonal drinks to keep visitors warm.

  • ✨Drone show (select nights): Look to the skies for Elevation Illumination - This year the Winter Wander Trail will feature a 200-drone spectacle. The drones shows are Nov. 15 & 16 and Dec. 17 & 18 (weather permitting). There will be two shows per night at 6 and 8 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online through the Boar's Head Resort website, which also provides details on dates, times, and any special events associated with the trail. šŸ’°Tickets run from $15-$25 the price depends on the day you visit.

  • Arrive early: The trail can take around 45 minutes to an hour to complete at a leisurely pace. Arriving early ensures you have enough time to enjoy the full experience before closing.
